In Partnership with Margaret Place, Japan Society of New Orleans' Japanese Cinema Series presents a free screening of the Akira Kurosawa's classic... Yojimbo!

• Cost: FREE! Open to the public!

Screening will take place outdoors in the beautiful Margaret Place courtyard. You are welcome to bring your favorite meal or snack to the venue to munch on while watching! Cash bar will be open to attendees to purchase beverages throughout the evening. All ages welcome! Movie Summary: 

A nameless ronin, or samurai with no master (Toshirô Mifune), enters a small village in feudal Japan where two rival businessmen are struggling for control of the local gambling trade. Taking the name Sanjuro Kuwabatake, the ronin convinces both silk merchant Tazaemon (Kamatari Fujiwara) and sake merchant Tokuemon (Takashi Shimura) to hire him as a personal bodyguard, then artfully sets in motion a full-scale gang war between the two ambitious and unscrupulous men. -- Directed by Akira Kurosawa; Not Rated
